In early July 2010, A-Wing International installs Syria`s first Micro Wind Turbine at the country`s renowned Aleppo University. The turbine was donated to the Japan Center for Academic Cooperation and installed by Mohammad Haj Mohamad, head of A-Wing International`s Middle Eastern development team.
Installed at a hub height of 4m and in average temperatures of 35-45 Degrees Celsius, the YWS-500 immediately excelled, reaching an instantaneous output of over 200W within its first hour of operation.
