[2010/04/17] I am studying in Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. My hometown is Phuket, small and famous island province in Thailand. Phuket is one of the most tourist destinations after Bangkok the capital city. Phuket is not a big province but rich of traditional, cultures and natural. Phuket consist of many ethnic groups, Thai, Chinese, European, Muslim, Chao lae (local people), Indian and Arabic people. Phuket locate in Andaman Sea part of Indian Ocean, in the southern part of Thailand. Thai people called Phuket as Andaman Pearl Island because of seawater and the beaches are clear and clean. Phuket is a not big island, 540 square kilometers. If you cannot imagine how big it is, just to know how big the Singapore is, Phuket is the same size as Singapore...
